Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 19th November 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposals would be contrary to policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Government advice in PPG 15 - Planning and the Historic Environment. Having regard to the size, bulk and detailing of the extensions, and to the loss of historic structure and features, it is considered that the proposals would unacceptably detract from the character of this Grade II listed building. Furthermore, the applicant has not submitted any overriding justification for the proposals.
