Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the existing industrial use on the ground floor of the premises, the proposal to introduce fitness classes on the first floor during daytime working hours will result in both uses operating from the site during the same daytime periods. There is insufficient space within the site to provide parking spaces to serve both uses in accordance with the Council's approved parking standards, and the proposals are likely to result in additional on-street parking to the detriment of the safety and convenience of both pedestrian and vehicular users of the Station Yard Industrial Estate. The proposals are thereby contrary to policy T9 set out in the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
