Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the repair of the semi-derelict stable and the construction of the
roof of the blockwork enclosure on the southern boundary of the site shall
be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this
permission.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That the external walls and roofs of the buildings be constructed and
finished in accordance with a schedule of materials and finishes which
shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local
Planning Authority before the development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That the land and buildings shall be used only for the purpose specified
in the application and as amplified by letters dated 9 October 1997 and
13 November 1997 and for no other purpose whatsoever.
Reason: To protect local amenities.
That a scheme for the landscaping of the site, including the planting of
live trees and shrubs, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by
the Local Planning Authority within three months of the date hereof. The
scheme shall be implemented as approved within twelve months of the date
hereof and thereafter be maintained in accordance with the approved scheme
to the complete satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. In the
event of any of the trees or shrubs so planted dying or being seriously
damaged or destroyed within three years of the completion of the
development, a new tree or shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs,
as the case may be, of a species first approved by the Local Planning
Authority, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions
first approved by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
That the existing hedge along that part of the southern boundary shown
coloured green on the attached plan ref. P97/N0637/A shall be retained
and properly maintained at a height of not less than 2.5 metres, any
gaps therein planted and so maintained and that any plant which may die
or be seriously damaged or destroyed within three years of the completion
of the development shall be replaced and the replacement shall be properly
maintained.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
