Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roofs
shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority before any works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That no works shall take place within the application area until the
applicant has been responsible for implementing a programme of
archaeological work in accordance with a written scheme of investigation
supplied by the applicant and acceptable to the Planning Authority. The
programme of archaeological work shall include recording of buildings to
be removed, those to be altered, and below ground investigation. The work
shall be carried out by a professionally qualified archaeological
organisation acceptable to the Planning Authority.
Reason: That the works may affect sites of archaeological interest.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the
type, design and external finish of all windows and external doors has
been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That prior to the commencement of the works, details of all methods
of ventilation and details of rainwater goods shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That prior to the commencement of the works, a full specification
of repair works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the
Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
