Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works is commenced. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area. Prior to the commencement of works, a full specification of works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. The fire surround in the dining room shall not be removed until a replacement has been agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. No works shall take place on site until the applicant, or their agent or successors in title, has secured the making of a detailed record/ implementation of a scheme of recording of the pediment sculpture on the west elevation and all other areas of stonework replacement. This must be carried out in accordance with a written scheme of investigation which shall first have been submitted to and agreed by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: As the building is of archaeological/historic importance.
