Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 16th November 1998
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposals would be contrary to policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and to the Council's supplementary design guidance for house extensions. The introduction of a flat roofed box dormer on the front of the property and the enlargement of the dormer on the rear of the property would result in intrusive and inappropriate forms of extension which would detract from the character and appearance of the existing dwelling. The proposal to extend at first floor up to the boundary with the adjoining property would result in a cramped form of development which would detract from the appearance of the area.
