That, having regard to the increased height and bulk of the proposed
garage and storage accommodation over the scheme approved under
application P91/W0558 and to the inclusion of rooflights in the design,
the proposal represents an inappropriate form of development which would
detract from the character and appearance of the North Stoke Conservation
Area. As such the proposal would be contrary to policies CON1 and CON2
of the adopted Rural Areas Local Plan 1992 and policies CON8 and CON10
of the approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
