Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That, notwithstanding the submitted details, the removal of paint from
existing timber shall only take place in accordance with a method which
shall have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority prior to the commencement of the works.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building.
That the works shall not commence until a detailed specification of the
type, design and external finish of the new window has been submitted to
and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and

That a scheme for the ventilation of the proposed bathrooms and toilets
shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority, prior to the commencement of the works.
