That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That details and samples of the materials to be used for all new external walls and roofs and for making good existing walls and roofs shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the character and setting of the listed buildings. That, notwithstanding the details shown on the submitted plans, detailed specifications of the types, designs and external finishes of all external doors, windows, rooflights and rainwater goods shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence. Reason: To safeguard the character and setting of the listed buildings.
