Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the materials of the existing wall shall be salvaged and reused in the reconstruction and any replacements required shall match the colour, type and texture of the existing bricks. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Ewelme Conservation Area. That a traditional lime mortar mix shall be used in the reconstruction of the external brick wall. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Ewelme Conservation Area. That details of the rebuilding and the means by which an unobstructed flow of water is to be maintained during the course of construction shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to commencement of works. Reason: To ensure satisfactory water drainage.
