Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the replacement of the existing wall on a different alignment and
with a large gap in the middle alters the original relationship of the
wall with Winterbrook House to the detriment of the setting of the listed
building.  In the absence of an acceptable scheme for its replacement
the demolition of the wall would detract from the character,
appearance and setting of Winterbrook House contrary to Policies CON1
and CON5 of the adopted Wallingford Local Plan and Policies CON1 and CON7
of the approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
