Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 24th April 1996
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the size and location of the proposed two storey extension in relation to No. 41 Honey Lane and to the addition of new first floor windows in the south (side) elevation and their relationship to No. 47 Honey Lane, the proposal represents an unneighbourly and oppressive form of development which would be detrimental to the residential amenities of the occupants of 41 and 47 Honey Lane. Furthermore, if the development were not carried out in conjunction with the illustrated extension at No. 43 Honey Lane, the extension would have an overbearing effect on that adjoining property. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy G5 of the adopted Rural Areas Local Plan (1992) and Policy H12 of the approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan (1993).
