Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 14th May 1997
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its excessive height and bulk, its inappropriate design and its relationship with the existing shallow pitched roof bungalow in this prominent elevated location, the proposed extension would result in an incongruous addition which would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the locality which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8, C2 and H12.
