Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would result in an increase in traffic using the
narrow lanes around Wyfold which lack footways and have poor forward
visibility.  It would also result in increased noise and disturbance
for residents in Wyfold.  The proposed use would, therefore, be
detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the public highway
and detract from the residential amenities currently enjoyed by those
residing locally.  As such, the development would be contrary to the
Council's adopted Rural Areas Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G7,
CON11, E1 and E2, and approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan (as proposed
to be modified), particularly policies G1, G10, C11, E3 and E4.
