That, particularly having regard to its bulk and height and to its
inappropriate details of design, the proposed house would constitute
an intrusive and incongruous form of development which would be
detrimental to the character and appearance of this part of the
Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Therefore, the proposal
would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted Rural Areas
Local Plan, particularly policies G5 and C7, and approved South Oxfordshire
Local Plan (as proposed to be modified), particularly policies G8 and
C2.
