That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the picket fence and gates shall be painted white within 3 months of construction, unless the Local Planning Authority approves any variation to the colour or treatment in writing. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the Pyrton Conservation Area.
