Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the modest scale of the existing dwelling,
the size, bulk, height and detailing of the proposed extensions
would represent a dominant, bulky and intrusive form of development
which would detract from the character and appearance of the dwelling
which lies within an Area of Great Landscape Value. As such,
the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's
adopted Rural Areas Local Plan (particularly policies G1, G5 and C8)
and approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan (particularly policies
G1, G8, C3 and H12).
