Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to its siting on higher ground in close proximity
to the boundaries with the adjoining properties, the proposed chalet
bungalow would have an oppressive and overbearing effect on those
properties, particularly Broomfield and would be detrimental to the
residential amenities of their occupants. As such, the proposal
would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted Rural
Areas Local Plan, particularly policies G5 and H4, and approved South
Oxfordshire Local Plan (as proposed to be modified), particularly
policies G8 and H5.
