That the provision of lamp standards introduces an urban element into
this sensitive location forming part of the rural setting of
Henley-on-Thames, resulting in an inappropriate and intrusive form of
development alien to the rural character of the locality which lies
within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  As such,
the development is contrary to the General, Countryside/Environmental
Policies of the Oxfordshire Structure Plan, particularly policies
G1, EN1 and EN4 and the Council's approved South Oxfordshire Local
Plan, particularly policies G1, C1 and C2.
