Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That the natural slates to be used for the roofs shall be of the same
colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and
to safegurd the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the
Watlington Conservation Area.
That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and
details of the joinery shall be submitted to and approved in writing
by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and
to safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the
Watlington Conservation Area.
That all rainwater goods shall be constructed of cast iron.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and

That prior to the works commencing details of the ventilation openings
shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority. The ventilation openings shall be installed in accordance
with the approved works.

appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the
Watlington Conservation Area.
