Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That the extension shall not be occupied until the external walls have been rendered and colour washed to match the existing building and shall thereafter be retained as such. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That the natural slates to be used for the roof shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That no works shall begin until a detail specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows and external door has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That the brick and flint boundary wall shall be repointed using lime mortar. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
