Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That the external walls and roof of the proposed garage/workshop
building shall be constructed and finished in accordance with a
schedule of materials and finishes, including samples, which shall
first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local
Planning Authority before the development commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That the garage doors shall be constructed with vertical dark stained
timber boarding.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That the building hereby permitted shall be used only for the purposes
specified in the Applicant's letter dated 1 July 1996 for the
personal enjoyment of occupants of 15 The Ridgeway and shall not be
used for any commercial or business purpose whatsoever.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the locality.
That the hedge to the south of the proposed access shall be reduced
in height to 1 metre for a length of 2.4 metres and shall thereafter
be retained as such.
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience.
That prior to the commencement of any other development to which this
permission relates, the means of access between the land and the highway
shall be formed, laid out and constructed strictly in accordance with the
specification of the means of access attached hereto, and all ancillary
works therein specified shall be undertaken strictly in accordance with
the said specification.
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience.
