Decision
Planning Permission on 12th August 1996
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the natural slates to be used for the roofs shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That the existing garage and playroom shown on drawing no. 9508/10B shall be demolished before any development is commenced in respect of the garage hereby permitted. Reason: The existence of both the existing garage and playroom and the approved garage in close proximity to the north-western boundary of the site would result in an unneighbourly form of development which would be overbearing to Chalk Cottage. That notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that Order) no windows or rooflights shall be constructed in the north western (side) elevation of the garage. Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly.
