That at the end of a period of 5 years beginning with the date of this consent, the consent will lapse and the advertisement hereby approved shall be removed unless a fresh application shall have been submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: By virtue of Regulation 18 (4) of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 1992. That the advertisement sign shall not be illuminated when the premises are not open for the service of the public. Reason: To protect local amenities. That the intensity of illumination shall not exceed 1600 candelas per square metre as detailed in The Institution of Lighting Engineers Technical Report No 5 (2nd Edition). Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience.
