Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the hedgerow and tree planting as shown on the approved drawing received on 1 May 1996 accompanying the application shall be carried out in the locations shown, around the car park hereby approved, within one month or other time period to be agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority, of the first use of the car park hereby approved. The hedgerow shall be so tended as to grow to, and remain at, a height of not less than 1.5 metres, and that any plant or tree which may die or be seriously damaged or destroyed within three years of the completion of the development shall be replaced and the replacement shall be maintained thereafter. Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings. That no direct light source shall be visible at any time to drivers of vehicles on the adjacent public highway. Reason: In the interests of highway safety and convenience. That the existing hedge along the whole of the western boundary of the land shall be retained and maintained at a height of not less than 2 metres, and that any plant which may die or be seriously damaged or destroyed within three years of the completion of the development shall be replaced and the replacement shall be maintained thereafter. Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
