Decision
Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 17th October 1996
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposals would be contrary in particular to policies CON8 and CON9 set out in the Council's adopted Central Oxfordshire Local Plan and policies CON10 and H12 set out in the approved South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to the excessive size and scale of the extensions and to their unsatisfactory form, the proposals would seriously detract from the form, character and appearance of the building, and the development would thereby be seriously detrimental to the special character and interest of this Grade II listed building, and to the character and appearance of the Beckley Conservation Area.
