That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the works shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the description, plans and specifications contained in the application, and subject to the conditions hereby imposed. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory (*and to protect the character of the building as a building of special architectural or historic interest). *N.B. Not if the listed building consent allows its demolition - or the consent relates to an unlisted building in a Conservation Area. Samples of the materials to be used in the proposed development shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority before building or other operations start. This condition shall apply notwithstanding any indications as to these matters which have been given in the submitted application and shall be read to include the submission of samples of glass, plastic and mortar type materials where it is proposed to use coloured, tinted or stained glass, plastic or mortar type materials. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. The development hereby permitted shall be carried out in complete accordance with the approved plans and specifications and in a proper workmanlike manner appropriate to the age and character of the building except where modern materials and/or methods have been specifically proposed in the application, to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
