Decision
Planning Permission on 11th September 1996
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That a scheme for the landscaping of the site, including the planting of live trees and shrubs, the treatment of the access road and hardstandings, and the provision of boundary fencing and screen walling shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of the development hereby permitted. The scheme shall be implemented as approved within 12 months of the commencement of the approved development and thereafter be maintained in accordance with the approved scheme to the complete satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. In the event of any of the trees or shrubs so planted dying or being seriously damaged or destroyed within 3 years of the completion of the development, a new tree or shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs, as the case may be, of a species first approved by the Local Planning Authority, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions first approved by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings. That the parking provision shall be as shown on the deposited drawing, reference 402.10 all constructed, surfaced and laid out, retained and maintained to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To comply with the Local Planning Authority's vehicle parking standards and to protect local amenities. That surface water shall not be disposed of other than in accordance with a detailed surface water drainage scheme which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: In the interests of public health. That the premises shall be used only by BBONT as an administrative centre, as described in the application and accompanying letter dated 8 July 1996 and shall not be used for any other purpose. Reason: Because permission is given only in view of the special circumstances. That within one month of the cessation of the use of the building by BBONT, the building shall be removed from the site and the site left in a tidy and orderly state. Reason: Because permission is given only in view of the special circumstances. That any meetings involving twenty people or more shall be restricted to one per calendar month as specified in the letter dated 9 September 1996 from the applicant. This number shall not be exceeded unless planning permission has first been granted by the Local Planning Authority on a formal application in respect thereof. Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly.
