Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the works shall not commence until a detailed specification of all internal doors, to inclue any fire upgrading, has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. No works shall commence on the building until the applicant has been responsible for organising a watching brief to be maintained during the course of the works affecting the historic fabric. The watching brief shall be carried out in accordance with a written specification and by a professional archaeologist or archaeological organisation with acknowledged experience in the recording of standing buildings, the nominee to be acceptable to the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the identification and recording of features of historic and/or archaeological interest associated with the fabric of the building.
