Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
The car park is to be laid out and constructed in accordance with the
submitted details to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To comply with the Local Planning Authority's vehicle parking
standards and to protect local amenities.
There shall be no raising of existing ground levels on the site.
Reason: To prevent the increased risk of flooding due to impedance of
flood flows and reduction of flood storage capacity.
A horizontal buffer strip 8m wide adjacent to River Thames shall be left
free from any permanent development including fences and other
obstructions.
Reason: To retain access to watercourse and to preserve and enhance
environmental integrity of river corridor.
A scheme for lighting the site shall be submitted to the Local Planning
Authority for approval. The lighting scheme shall include details of the
columns, luminaires and lighting shields to be provided.
Reason: In the interest of highway safety and convenience.
That the landscaping of the site shall be carried out in accordance with
the details shown on plan No.201. The landscaping shall be carried out in
the first planting season following the completion of the development; and
any trees or plants which within a period of five years from the completion
of the development die; are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased
shall be replaced in the next planting seaosn with others of similar size
and species, unless the Local Planning Authority gives written consent
to any variation.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
