Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That the works shall be carried out in accordance with a schedule of
materials and finishes, including the use of a traditional lime rich
mortar mix for the repair of the boundary wall, a lime rich plaster
mix for re-rendering the external walls and matching tiles for the
repair of the roof, which shall first have been submitted to and approved
in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and to
safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the area.
That no works shall commence until a detailed specification of the
joinery to be used, including the glazing bars and the glazing to the
back door, has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local
Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory and to
safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the area.
