Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That the buildings be repaired and restored in accordance with a schedule
of materials and finishes which shall first have been submitted to and
approved in writing before the works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That no works of alteration to the listed barn shall take place until
a scheme has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local
Planning Authority for the formation of the proposed internal doorway.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the
type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and
rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the
Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That expect as specifically stated on the approved drawings no works of
alteration or demolition affecting the timber frames of the barns shall be
undertaken without the prior written consent of the Local Planning
Authority.
Reason: Consent is given in view of the special circumstances and to
accord with the policy of the Local Planning Authority.
That if any works are undertaken in contravention of condition 6 hereof
then this listed building consent shall lapse and become void.

That no works shall take place until there has been submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a scheme for the
provision of any external flue pipes or extractors which may need to be
inserted in roofs or walls of the buildings.
