The proposed development would result in harm to the Ancient Woodland from an arboricultural perspective. This application fails to demonstrate how the proposed development would not impact adversely on trees within the Ancient Woodland. In the absence of this information the proposed development would be contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework, Policy ENV1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan (2020), the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and standing Government advice on Ancient Woodland.
