The proposed solar panels as shown on plans LOC-001, SIP-001A, EF-001, EE-001, PF-001 and EP-001B falls within Part 14, Class A of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order") and would be lawful development by reference to Section 58 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and Article 3 of the Order.
The proposed water butts and associated pipes tying to the existing guttering do not require planning permission. This is on the grounds that the water butts do not constitute operational development as defined by Section 55 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the pipes would be so minor as to be disregarded and as such fall outside the scope of the planning system..
