Having regard to the positioning of the proposed vehicle access, the access would fail to provide sufficient visibility splays and would also be within close proximity of an existing junction. As a result the proposal would result in an increased risk to Highway Safety and to other users of the Highway within the vicinity. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policy TRANS5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035, and the National Planning Policy Framework.
