Planning Permission on 14th February 2023
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The development to which this permission relates must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, P4, P3 Rev A and P2, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.
The letting accommodation hereby approved shall be occupied solely for visitor purposes and shall not be occupied as a person's sole or main place of residence. The owners/operators shall maintain an up-to-date register of the names of all the occupiers of the accommodation, as well as the dates of their arrival and departure and their contact details. This register shall be made available at all reasonable times to the local planning authority.
Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of amenity. The proposal has only been justified on the grounds of its benefit to local tourism in accordance with Policy EMP11 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
