The proposal fails to demonstrate that the application site can accommodate adequate vision splays for vehicles from the access, and due to the lack of turning space within the site vehicles would likely have to reverse onto the busy B4009 Britwell Road. The proposal would thereby be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the public highway. As such, the development is contrary to Policy TRANS5 of South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and paragraphs 110 and 111 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
