Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 16th September 2022
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed chimney removal would be harmful to the distinct character of the dwelling and the historic terrace it is situated within. As such, the proposed development would fail to preserve the special interest, character or appearance of the Henley - Reading Road Conservation Area and would therefore be contrary to Policies DES1, DES2, ENV6 and ENV8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and Policies DSQ1 and EN5 of the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan 2015 and the National Planning Policy Framework.
