Decision
Refusal of Outline Planning Permission on 18th November 2022
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed development would represent back land development which would create a disproportionate addition to the village. It would extend beyond the built limits of Goring into the open countryside. The development would not constitute infill development as the site is not closely surrounded by buildings, nor would involve the infilling of a small gap in an otherwise built-up frontage. The development is therefore contrary to policies STRAT1, H1, and H16 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035, and policies 01, 02 of the Goring-on-Thames Neighbourhood Plan July 2019.
