The development would result in an unacceptable loss of playing field land. The proposed facilities would have limited benefit to sport. The need for and benefits of the proposed alternative sports provision, which would result in the loss of playing field, do not outweigh that loss. As such, the development is contrary to policy CF4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and paragraph 99 of the NPPF.
