Description
The works have already been completed. A door was removed between our kitchen and stairwell. The door frame was left in the wall, and plaster board placed within it, and paint over the top to seamlessly integrate with the rest of the wall and stay in keeping with the property. The door was placed in the cellar. A large fridge is placed in the kitchen where the door was. It is the only place to put a family fridge in with the size and shape of the kicthen.

Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 12th October 2021
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the historic plan form of the Grade II Listed dwellinghouse, position of the doorway opening and panel door across the ground floor of the property shown to be blocked up and removed, the proposed works would alter the historic plan from of the dwelling and results in loss of historic fabric without sufficient heritage justification. The alterations have a negative impact upon the historic and architectural interest of the existing Grade II listed property. As such, the works outlined in this application are contrary to Policies ENV6 and ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and Government guidance set out in the National Planning Policy Framework.
