The maximum luminance of the internally illuminated sign hereby approved shall not exceed 600 cds per sqm in compliance with the Institution of Lighting Engineers Technical No 5 (Second Edition) and any subsequent amendments thereto.
Reason: In the interest of highway safety and to safeguard the visual amenities of the area in accordance with Policies DES1, DES2 and TRANS5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
