Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 26th November 2021
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed dwelling would be out of keeping with the character of existing development in the village which consists of large dwellings set within spacious plots, the proposal would detract from the spacious character and appearance of the area. In addition, the proposed amenity area will be situated to the side of the dwelling next to the proposed car parking space which would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the street scene and would provide inadequate standards of amenity for the occupants.
The development will constitute a cramped form of development that would be contrary to policies DES1, DES2 and DES5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
