The proposed extension is considered to harm visual amenity, the significance of the listed building and its relationship with the farmhouse, and the character and appearance of the conservation area by disrupting the original form of the building and eroding its agricultural character through the introduction of an overly domestic feature which cuts through the eaves. Therefore, the application is therefore contrary to S.66 & 72 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 (as amended), the NPPF, and Policies DES1, DES2, ENV6, ENV7, and ENV8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and Policies LM4 and LM5 of the Little Milton Neighbourhood Plan.
