Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, 20-1 Rev P2, 91-1 Rev P1, 22-5 Rev P2, 22-6 Rev P2, 22-3 Rev P2, 22-4 Rev P2, 22-1 Rev P2, 22-2 Rev P2, 8200770-4101, 8200770-4102, 8200770-4103 and 20-3 Rev P2, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.
Prior to the commencement of the works hereby approved specifications and photographs or samples as appropriate of all materials to be used in the repairs and reconstruction hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: In the interests of the visual appearance of the works and to ensure the works respect and do not diminish the special historical and architectural qualities which make the building worthy of inclusion on the statutory list in accordance with Policy ENV7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
Following the completion of a small section (no more than one square metre) of sample repairs / replacement stonework to the facade hereby approved and prior to the commencement of any further remedial / reconstruction works, the sample repairs / replacement stonework shall be inspected by the council and a detailed schedule of the remedial / reconstruction strategy shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to further repairs / reconstruction works being carried out across the whole facade.
