Description
Discharge condition 4 (Fireplaces removal and repair) on planning application P19/S2855/LB.
i) treatment of an exposed period fireplace, including repointing and repairs
ii) exposure, restoration, and reinstatement of four additional fireplaces , including removal of one modern fireplace and finishes
iii) relocation of the kitchen, including a new grey-water drainage point, and installation of an insulated suspended softwood-clad ceiling
iv) creation of a new doorway, involving a knock-through from what is currently a front scullery room to a back work room
v) installation of a toilet/basin in a downstairs backroom, including blocking up the current doorway and installing a new doorway
vi) installation of an extractor fan and external vent in the bathroom
vii) undertaking damp alleviation works in various locations, involving removal of internal gypsum plaster and external concrete render and, where necessary, appropriate application of new lime mortar and plaster
viii) stabilisation and repair of existing lime plasterwork
ix) plastering between ceiling joists in current utility room
x) stripping of black paint from original structural beams throughout the property
xi) construction of external drains for a) kitchen grey-water and for b) foul water from proposed downstairs toilet/basin
xii) excavation of trench behind utility room and work room at rear of property to remove ground-level earth that is currently trapping damp against external brickwork
xiii) rewiring and replumbing of the property, as required.
