(Amended plans received 22nd February 2021, incorporating the following changes: End gable wall on Honeycot side moved in by 500mm. Front roof changed to Chalet style roof with front eaves lowered and the internal room layouts revised. Notwithstanding the amendments to the proposed scheme, the District Council considers that the development would, by virtue of its excessive scale, bulk and inappropriate design, appear cramped and visually incongruous within the context of the surrounding built form. The resulting harm to the character of the street scene and the wider area would be contrary to Policies DES1 and DES2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and advice within the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2016.
