Having regard to the form, scale and design of the proposed extensions and dormer windows, the proposal would result in an incongruous and discordant addition, which would detract from the character and appearance of the existing dwelling and the visual amenities of the street scene. As such, the proposal would be contrary to policies DES1, DES2, and H20 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035 and advice contained within the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2016.
