Refusal of Planning Permission on 3rd February 2020
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The removal of the existing hedge and erection of the proposed timber fencing along the frontage of the site would have a harmful impact that would not conserve or enhance the existing landscape of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is out of keeping with immediate street scene and landscape character of North Moreton. The proposed development does not accord with the requirements of the NPPF, policies CSEN1 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy, policies G2, D1 and C4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and the advice contained within South Oxfordshire Landscape Assessment.
