The proposed yurts would be substantial structures which amount to new residential units in the open countryside, where new residential development is not permitted, and would be prominent and appear intrusive and incongruous on the site and within the surrounding landscape which would be harmful to the landscape character of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty contrary to policies STRAT1, H1, DES1, DES2, EMP11, EMP12 and ENV1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.

Insufficient plans and information have been provided to demonstrate that access, parking and servicing needs can be provided to meet Oxfordshire County Council's standards contrary to policies DES1, TRANS5 and EP3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2035.
